Beautiful fall wedding...

I was so excited to see another wedding published on Style Me Pretty! I loved this beautiful, fall-themed wedding up at Thomas Fogarty Winery in Woodside California. Deb and Christian

Deb and Christian were such a fun couple! They really wanted a fun an unique wedding, as testified by their bold and fun color choices and unique paper ideas! It is so fun to work with a couple that challenges my creativity and allows me to try some new things! They fell in love with velvet paper and really, really wanted to use it in their invitation. It had such a beautiful texture, but presented some challenges in the printing. What I ended up doing was printing the flower on an inkjet printer to capture the color shading, and using letterpress for the wording to make it nice and crisp! The end result was beautiful...wrapped up in a paper fold with a die-cut to showcase the poppy underneath. And of course, all held together with a gorgeous wax seal! So much fun!

The place cards were made out of flower seed paper
with a printed vellum overlay...held together by copper grommets.

And the best part of all...the menus! They gave me an opportunity to
use paper quilling for the first time in a wedding paper design. I can't even count the numerous hours I spent twirling paper, but I LOVED the end result. It was so much fun, and made each one unique!

Here are a few pictures from a gorgeous, damask themed wedding at the Bently Reserve in San Francisco. I think the colors and theme came together to create a very elegant setting. Enjoy!

Fogarty Winery Showcase

I had the privelege of participating in the Thomas Fogarty Winery preferred vendor showcase last week! Thanks to Janae Shield's Photography I have some beautiful pictures to share! The gorgeous florals are by Amy Burke Designs, and rentals by Hartmann Studios. Other great vendors included Janece Shelloe of Every Elegant Detail, and Beth Anne Goldberg of Studio Cake. I had so much fun working with the other vendors, and creating paper designs that showed several different styles and price ranges. One our our goals was to create 3 different table designs that would give ideas for every budget.

Table 3 was our standard table- from florals, to rentals, to paper designs... this table was priced affordably for almost any bride!

Table 2 was contemporary and modern with clean lines. The pricing was a bit higher with some really unique touches! This table was fun for all of us!

Table 1 was the crème de la crème of table designs! This table was the highest priced table, but with the gorgeous linens and stunning floral, it was a site to behold...

Another Pryde wedding

I just had the privilege of doing paper designs for the sister of a bride I worked with over a year ago! Her name is Anna, and she was a joy to work with! She was torn between a simple stripe design and a floral design, so I incorporated the two. Again we used diffrent placecard colors to designate the guest's entree choices. Her wedding took place outdoors and her planner, Janece Shellooe of Every Elegant Detail did a wonderful job of displaying the escort cards so that the wind wouldn't blow them away!

Calligraphy

Hand calligraphy is a beautiful way to add a personal touch to your invitations, envelopes or place cards. I offer calligraphy in a few different styles. Please contact me if you'd like to see other options!

Plume Design

Here is an elegant design, perfect for any wedding! I have printed it on shimmery silver and pearl paper and it looks so beautiful! It also looks great on a powdery blue color. You choose the paper color that matches your wedding- it will go with anything!

Initials

I love the simplicity of this design- the initials of the bride and groom intersecting each other in a contemporary design that represents the lifetime bond of marriage. This card is a 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 design, but can be changed to a 5X7 if you prefer.

Dandelions

Make a wish! This dandelion design shows a touch of whimsy with a contemporary flair! Available in your wedding colors!

Cherry Blossoms

I think cherry blossoms are one of my favorite flowers! I love the interesting shapes that the branches make! This is a beautiful invitation set for a spring wedding.

As you can see, the flower colors can be changed to match your wedding colors,

or you can go with the classic pink!

Navy Wheat Design

This is a simple design that would be perfect for an elegant fall wedding. The navy wheat design contrasts against a tan or off-white background.

Pryde Wedding

For this wedding I was asked to make place cards, escort cards, and table number cards. She had a beautiful green and turquoise theme that was fun to work with! The design I used on the card was fun, elegant and incorporated both colors.
