Elegance...

Here are a few pictures from a gorgeous, damask themed wedding at the Bently Reserve in San Francisco. I think the colors and theme came together to create a very elegant setting. Enjoy!

Ron and Stacie

Ron and Stacie had a lovely fall wedding up at Thomas Fogarty Winery. I was really inspired by their beautiful autumn color scheme. Stacie and I spent many hours comparing papers and ribbons in order to achieve the perfect combo! I was so thrilled with how her invitations turned out. We both liked them so much that we decided to create the menus in a similar fashion. I also created an escort card display out of 2 gold boxes. The cards were on gold wires sticking up out of the moss, in an abstract garden display. I also designed a custom wax seal for them to use in their paper designs.  Here are some of the vendors involved in that beautiful day. They all did a wonderful job!

Megan and Kevin

I was so excited to be a part of this GORGEOUS wedding. Megan was a dream bride for me- allowing me tons of creative freedom, and she was so easy and fun to work with. She had a rustic, vintage wedding theme, and I knew immediately that we must use vintage fabrics as our inspiration. The antique windows and doors we found were perfect for diplaying her escort cards. It was a fun and new experience incorporating the fabrics into some of these designs. I'm still waiting on more pictures, but here are some for now... taken by the great Meg Perotti.

Starry Night

I was recently invited to be a part of a theme inspired photoshoot! Our inspiration for this wedding was the Van Gogh painting Starry Night. I was asked to do the paper designs with this inspiration in mind. I was immediately inspired by the swirled designs in the painting, and decided it was time to try something I've been wanting to do for a long time... paper quilling! It was so much fun creating these 3 dimensional swirls on the paper! I loved how they turned out. I also used the names of Van Gogh's family and close friends (including the Dr. who worked on his ear) in the place cards. And I used a French inspired menu. It was so fun to see how it all came together! And to top it all off... Junebug Weddings chose to feature and publish our work in their wedding blog. Check it out! It was a pleasure to work with so many talented people!
